Join us on October 4, 2024 for an empowering Women in STAT event that showcases the perspectives of successful female leaders in academia and industry. Meet four (4) female panelists who will share their journey in the STEM field, including their motivations, challenges faced, and how they overcame obstacles in their careers. This event is a unique opportunity for current Illinois students in STEM to gain valuable insights and learn from experienced women in the field. With brief presentations from each panelist and an open forum discussion, this event is a must-attend for female students pursuing degrees in statistics and other STEM fields. All are welcome to join and engage in the conversation, including male students and those from other degree programs.

This event will be held at the Illinis Union Ballroom from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM, followed by a casual networking dinner from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
